Christ Centered Fellowship

Grace Bible Church is a small body of believers where everyone really cares for each other, where no one is judged and everyone is welcome. We are non-denominational and we look to the Bible and the God of the Bible as our only authority.

On Sunday mornings, we pray together and anyone who joins us is welcome to pray along with us. After this, Pastor Grant leads us through the Word of God. Child care is available during the service.

Pastor Grant believes that the Bible should be interpreted to reflect the original intention of the author. He also believes that the Bible must be applied as as whole, rather than just applying our favorite passages independently of one another. For example, a passage about living a holy life like Matthew 5-7 must be coupled with an understanding of passages about living by the Spirit like Romans 6-8 and vice-versa. This means that in his teaching, Pastor Grant is always careful to emphasize the broader context. The end result is teaching that is focused on love and founded on the Free Grace of God.

GBC is a body of believers where everyone has a role to play and no one's role is exalted or denegrated. We fearlessly pursue a life fully dedicated to God together, knowing none of us can function as God intended apart from each other. We also understand that God's grace is the only thing we have to stand on and that it is only because of Him that we have a role to play in His plan at all; so we live a life of thanks, humbly serving Him and edifying one another.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head-Christ-from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
